“More Than a Vegetable Crop: CSA Farm Tour and Conversation with Brad Wissmueller and Eleanor Johnson of Little Society Farm" will be held Saturday, August 22 at 4:00 p.m. at their farm, located at E11540 State Road 136 in Baraboo. Come and learn about what local climate-smart farming looks like and hear plans for an on-site vegetable processing and commercial kitchen space, retail, café and farm stay cabins.
Your name will be entered to win a door prize if you bring a friend. Farm fresh snacks will be served. Also included will be an overview of Powered Up Baraboo’s current projects and ways to get involved.
Bring your own lawn chair and water bottle.
Check PUB’s website www.poweredupbaraboo.org in case the date is moved to August 23 because of bad weather on August 22.
Accommodations will be made for guests with mobility issues with advance notification. Please contact us at poweredupbaraboo@gmail.com. Those willing to do a bit of walking to the event area should pull into the DL side of the property (near the greenhouse structure) to park. (See parking illustration below.) Otherwise just come to their driveway on Hwy 136 and there will be people to direct you accordingly.
This is the first of three “Energizing Events” PUB is planning for late summer/early fall 2026. For more information about this event, call 608-843-9641.
