PUB 2026 In Person Native Plant Sale

Just in time for gardening season, Powered Up Baraboo is hosting a sale of native plants to help you establish eco-friendly planting areas in your yard. By choosing perennials that evolved in this region, you will choose plants more likely to be hardy in the Baraboo area, and can thrive alongside insects and other animals that share this space.

Plants available will be Butterfly Milkweed, Purple Coneflower, Culver’s Root, Little Bluestem, White Tinged Sedge, Meadow Blazing Star, Large-flowered Beard Tongue, Cardinal Flower, Rose Milkweed, Purple Prairie Clover, Prairie Coreopsis, Spotted Bee Balm, Highbush Cranberry, and Common Elderberry.

This will also be when people who ordered native plants online from PUB in February will pick up their plants.

All proceeds from this sale will be used for programs and projects of Powered Up Baraboo, including increasing the use of renewable energy, energy conservation, and environmentally sustainable practices in the Baraboo and Sauk County area.
